The fourth edition of the re-enactment day brings back the Villa Arconati at the time of the Second World War: a way to relive the moments that also saw the Castellazzo protagonist during the Second World War, with the revival of a real slice of life from the Forties: one hundred re-enactors, military camps, original vintage vehicles used during the conflict, the military hospital.

The purpose of the initiative is to revive a slice of life and local history that has touched Italy and our territory in a very strong way, and therefore deserves to be remembered, so that what happened does not happen again.

Program of the day:
9.30 am

Mass in the church of San Guglielmo in Castellazzo
Following movement of the column on foot and honors to the fallen of Castellazzo at the monument

10.30 am / 11.00 am
Column movement on foot and troops entering Villa Arconati FAR
Deployment of troops in the Noble Court and start of group work in their sectors

2.00 pm
In the Court of Cedar recovery simulation activities injured with Firemen and CRI
Then the demonstration of sanitary intervention in Limonaia continues

4.00 pm
In the Teatro delle Ortaglie dynamic demonstration of a clash between allied troops and the axis

6.00 pm
General gathering of the groups and greeting to the FAR Directorate

Throughout the day the public will be able to visit the military camps, the commands of the various armies and the hospital, set up in some areas of the park and the villa.
Re-enactors will be available to the public to provide historical, cultural and customs information related to the Second World War period, so that this sad historical period is remembered so that what happened did not happen again.
