The Reception Room

The reception room, also know as the Salone dei Galliari is the heart of the Noble floor, one of the best preserved and most appreciated by visitors. The restoration intervention funded by Fondazione Augusto Rancilio focused on the consolidation of the frescoes, while in 2013 it was the subject of a grant from CNA, the National Confederation of Craftsmen - Milan, Monza Brianza which supported the restoration of three wooden windows, and has allowed many art and architecture lovers to be able to live a better visit experience, also allowing their best use for shooting, conferences and meetings.

Built during the XVIII century, it takes its name from the scenographers to whom Giuseppe Antonio Arconati commissioned his decoration: the Galliari brothers, set designers for the Teatro Regio of Turin and the Teatro Ducale in Milan (now Teatro alla Scala). To be represented on the vault of the hall is the myth of Fetonte.
