Embraces of Light
At the entrance, a Madonna and Child welcomes the visitor: it is the point of origin, the womb of light and love, the threshold from which an inner journey begins. Her gentle and meditative gaze invites silence and contemplation, preparing the soul for a voyage that touches the deepest chords of the human spirit.
In this same room, the chromatic dialogue between Amanda Bayard and Andrei Prychodko, with its joyful and luminous tones, foreshadows the path toward light: a visual proclamation of hope and rebirth that guides the visitor’s gaze.
The exhibition unfolds as a symbolic journey in search of the meaning of life, traversing zones of shadow and revelations of light. From the initial brightness evoked by Antoni Taulé, radiating like an act of birth and awareness, the viewer is led into a more complex territory, where the labyrinth and the sphinx, in the works of Emanuele Gregolin, become metaphors of reflection: questions that do not always find answers, but which, by asking questions, generate knowledge.
The eyes in Architectures of the Soul by Pierluigi Bellacci, which observe and allow themselves to be admired, represent the continuous tension toward happiness, joy, and truth: a desire renewed each time one opens one’s gaze to the world and to others. It is the moment of awareness, of recognizing oneself as part of a greater whole.
From the disorder of chaos then emerges Cosmov, the work of Jean-Marie Fadier, as a rebirth: humanity, lost among fragments and uncertainties, rediscovers its path toward a more concrete and real dimension. Nearby, the mountain landscapes of Marco D’Anna celebrate the return to the earth, the love for one’s own places, the purity of nature that consoles and guides.
Finally, with Jean-Luc Guérin, love becomes movement and gift. From the initial contemplative stillness, we arrive at expansion — at the light that spreads and embraces the world. The angel of Le départ de l’ange guards and accompanies, a symbol of a presence that protects and sustains the human journey.
This exhibition is not merely a display of artworks, but an experience of inner rebirth: it traverses spirituality and emotion, turmoil and hope, to reach a higher sense of life, where light does not erase shadow but welcomes and transforms it. It is a path that invites reflection and self-discovery, preparing the eyes and the heart for a time of renewal and light.
