La Casa dos Curumins:

The “Banda dos Curumins” project, a group made up of 20 young ex-students of the music school who, for their commitment and seriousness, has become the visiting card of Casa dos Curumins. Awarded as the best educational musical project 2020, recognition obtained in 2021 by the jury of the prestigious PPM (Brazilian Music Professionals Award), the Banda dos Curumins has been the protagonist since February 2013 of an unprecedented cultural, educational and artistic experience for the Pedreira community.
The awards won by the Banda dos Curumins are the result of the passion, experience and, above all, the human and artistic vocation of all the participants, whose enthusiasm and talent have attracted the attention and direct collaboration of renowned exponents of instrumental music. Brazilian.
The Concerts at Villa Arconati and Estival Jazz Lugano 2022:
The dream of being able to travel and get to know a new country, timidly cultivated for years, initially seemed impossible to achieve. With the determination, perseverance and commitment of the young members of the Banda dos Curumins, the dream is coming true.
We have awakened in young people the courage and beauty of dreaming, offering opportunities and tools to transform their lives without ever limiting dreams, indeed we are committed to ensuring that at Casa dos Curumins dreams and determination never fade..
You are all invited to participate in the Brazilian evening of Estival Jazz Lugano (27 August) and the concert at Villa Arconati (28 August). Your presence will have a much deeper meaning than simply sharing a musical moment.
The event is promoted by the Casa dos Curumins Association and the Augusto Rancilio Foundation with the patronage of the Municipality of Bollate and E-Pic Land
The Augusto Rancilio Foundation promotes a fundraising, on the occasion of the concert on August 28, in support of the Casa dos Curumins. All the proceeds will be donated to the Association to participate in the project in a simple and concrete way.
