Since the last legislature, Regione Lombardia has promoted and supported the implementation of integrated cultural development projects in the territory and with the regional law of 7 October 2016, n. 25 “Politiche regionali in materia culturale – Riordino normativo” established the tool of the Integrated Plans of Culture, through which it promotes strategic cultural planning in integrated and multisectoral forms that require coordination between public and private subjects.

The Integrated Plans of Culture are aimed at implementing, both on a territorial scale and on priority issues, integrated interventions for the promotion of cultural heritage and cultural activities and events, to promote processes of enhancement of the territories that also involve the environment, craftsmanship, training, education , research, tourism and welfare.

Augusto Rancilio Foundation presented the project Ri-creare cultura, Ri-generare il patrimonio Ville di delizia, parchi, acque: strategie integrate e azioni innovative tra Brianza e Città Metropolitana, together with various partners: Municipality of Bollate, Municipality of Desio, Municipality of Rho, Province of Monza and Brianza, Cosnorzio Est-Ticino Villoresi, Parco delle Groane and Brughiera Briantea, Stripes social cooperative.
The territorial Pic was selected by the Lombardy Region.
